EASSH launches new website and The EASSH Lens blog
The website reflects new branding, provides improved functionality and content, and introduces our blog dedicated to SSH research and learning.
Website redesign
The EASSH website and logo has been redesigned in 2025 along with an ongoing branding project covering publications and communication materials.
Logo
The logo has been redesigned while maintaining brand recognition and the concepts of compromise and balance between the individual and society – such as conformity vs. individuality, security vs. freedom, and inclusion vs. rejection.
Search
The site now features both site-wide and member search, with more specific search and filtering functionalities being introduced in the coming weeks.
Publications
A new Publications section initially presents our Position Papers, with the most recent papers being typeset using our new layout and logo. Further publications, such as reports, joint statements and other materials will further on be added to this section.
Dark mode and phone/tablet design
To support the growing availability of dark mode and increasing use of mobile devices by our audience, the site features light and dark modes according to user preference settings or direct choice, as well as improved layout and navigation on touch/mobile devices. We have also improved general usability and accessibility, with continued improvements being carried out.
Member and partner feeds
On the front page, the section Around our network features articles from various members and related organisations.
Blog - The EASSH Lens
The EASSH Lens is a blog (on our main website) dedicated to learning and research in the social sciences and humanities. We want the blog to be a place of scholarly discussion that makes the case for analysis and active engagement with the important issues of our times.
We are looking for easily accessible pieces written for a broad audience. Original pieces can present new findings and important research directions, programmes and projects. Reviews and new interpretations of existing work are also welcome, as are articles that may have been published elsewhere but could make important contributions to the aims of EASSH.
If you have an idea for a blog post, please get in touch with nikos.kastrinos@eassh.eu with a brief outline.
Future developments
The EASSH website is evolving and new features and improvements are continually introduced. If you have suggestions or would like to report a problem, please send your feedback to executive.secretary@eassh.eu.
