Translation by Design Workshop

Translational research aims to translate basic scientific discoveries quickly and efficiently into practice. In this workshop, we brought together a range of participants to formulate a call to action around translational research principles being central to the research design process across all disciplines.

Our focus was on extracting the fundamental characteristics of translation, and how translational methods, approaches and mindset could be leveraged beyond medicine to help bridge gaps between fundamental and applied research and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
